According to the words of Yan Shchekaturov, the head of the regional public organization DGC “Dialogue”, their organization and the mayor of the city are regularly receiving different appeals complaining on the public activities, held by Falun Gong organization.

Because of it, the expert-consultation committee, attached to internal police department, was created. There were the experts of different branches, including psychology and psychiatry. “In response to the citizens’ complaints, we carried out an expert estimate of this organization. The estimate showed that there were signs of asocial and manipulative techniques in public actions of Falun Gong organization, that is preaching Falun Dafa”, - Shchekaturov tells.

The members of this organization imitate the human organs extraction in the public places of the city, telling that this is the way they stand up for the rights of Falun Gong disciples in China whose organs are supposedly extracted for sale in America as transplants. Young mothers, who are walking with their kids in Chkalov park and have to observe these shows now and then feel very troubled about it. The psychologists, who analyzed these actions came to a conclusion that they may have a negative impact on children’s mind.

Though Falun Gong’s is registered in Dnepropetrovsk as a regional Falun Dafa system public organization, many experts consider it to be a religious one.

“The experts analyzed Falun Dafa book, which is the doctrine of Falun Gong movement and came to a conclusion that this organization is obviously a religious one, to be more exact, this is a heretical sect from point of view of traditional Taoist and Buddhist trends”, - tells Valeriy Chebanenko, the president of Kiev “Cults and Society” public organization.

There is consideration that Falun Gong is waging an information war against the Chinese People’s Republic. Somethird party may be interested in it. This war is manipulating the people’s opinion and mind: “This organization wages the war between two states – Ukraine and China”, – Yan Shchekaturov considers.

The latest action, held by Falun Gong members in Dnepropetrovsk, was collecting of the residents’ signatures against repressions of Falun Dafa disciples in China before the Olympic Games 2008.

Falun Gong organization consists of more than 1000 people in Ukraine. According to their claims, they stand up for the rights of Falun Dafa disciples, whose organs are extracted in China. As Falun gong members tell, there are 36 concentration camps in China, where the organs of the living people are extracted for sale.
