The residents of the city are making complaints against the “sectarians”, who are carrying out the mystic rites in the center of the city During several days the newspapers, showing the photos of the Chinese concentration camps prisoners and extracted organs are distributed in Dnepropetrovsk. This action was initiated by Dnepropetrovsk public organization Falun Gong. The members of this organization claim that they stand up for the rights of Falun Dafa disciples in China, whose organs are told to be extracted for sale in America. Many residents of Dnepropetrovsk affirm that these “sectarians” are imitating human organs extraction. People even called the reception of Ivan Kulichenko, the mayor of Dnepropetrovsk and the city police administration. The citizens showed their indignation with Falun Gong’s carrying out the mystic rites in broad daylight in the parks and public gardens. Falun Gong disciples claim, they are not sectarians. According to their words, Falun Dafa is a complex of ancient gymnastic exercises meant for improving physical and spiritual condition. Yet, in China people, who practice Falun Dafa exercises are imprisoned and their even organs may be sold. With the help of imitating organ extraction in public, the activists tried to draw the people’s attention to the problem of repressions in China.To solve the problem of permissibility of these actions, the internal policy department created an expert-consultation committee, consisting of the specialists in different branches of science, psychology and psychiatry included.“We made an expert estimate of this organization that proved that Falun Gong, preaching Falun Dafa, has the signs of asociality and manipulative techniques” – the head of the public organization combating the destructive cults Yan Shchekaturov. Falun Gong organization has more than 1000 members in Ukraine. There are about 80 Falun Dafa disciples in Dnepropetrovsk.
