The activists started gathering signatures against the Olympiad two weeks ago. The protest actions of such a kind are taking place twice a week – on Thursdays and on Sundays. There are about 80 signatures under the “anti-Olympiad” petition overall.“We are collecting them throughout the country and then we send them to Kiev via Internet”, - Nona Ivanovna, the 70-year-old member of this organization, tells. During a half an hour only one elderly man became interested in the activists’ activity. According to what Denis, the member of this organization, has told us, the members of the Communist Party in China consider “Falun Dafa’s” actions to be an opposition to the Communist ideology. It was the end of the nineties when the Communists started practicing the repressions. According to the young man’s words, those, who are practicing this movement, are still being put to concentration camps. There were even some cases when their organs were extracted in order to be sold as transplants, he claims. In Dnepropetrovsk “Falun Dafa” disciples do the exercises in the Lenin public garden every day. And on the weekends they have their coaching on the embankment. Some young men are informing the public, telling them both about the trend itself and about the Chinese communists’ atrocity.
