The local Scientologists’ organization was banned in Altay region. Industrial regional court of Barnaul satisfied the claim of the local prosecutor concerning the liquidation of the city “Humanitarian Dianetics Center” organization, Interfax- religion tells.

The check-up of Barnaul regional scientology center’s activity, which was carried out by the regional department of the federal registering service and the representatives of the state prosecutor’s office was used as a ground for bringing the case to the court.

“During the check-up of the organization the specialists of the department found the blunt violations of  the requirements of the current legislations while carrying out religious activity and teaching Scientology religion. We found out that the members’ position and attitude to them differs a lot depending on the system of donations and level in Lafayet Ron Hubbard’s hierarchy, etc”, - the website of the  state prosecutor’s office tells.

According to the results of the experts’ report, scientology doctrine is supposed to be a religious activity, while the Federal Law “about the Public Organizations” claims that “it is inadmissible for the public organization to carry out religious work”.

As soon as the decision comes to Russian Department of the Ministry of Justice, scientological organization of Barnaul will be excluded from the unite state registry of legal entities.
